I’ve signed up for a free event or webinar and one of the sessions has been cancelled. Will the speaker be rescheduling?

All of our events are also supported by our staff who give up their evenings and weekends to support young people and their parents. Although we rarely cancel an entire event, there are times where volunteers or staff may no longer be available to run an event or webinar. In cases like this, the speaker may be replaced or we may need to cancel or reschedule an event.

If an event has been cancelled or an event has been replaced or rescheduled, we will inform you via email. Likewise, if the speaker becomes available in the future and is able to run the event, we will inform you via email.

Please note that we do not offer any forms of guarantees or compensation for free events that are cancelled or rescheduled. We prefer not to cancel our events. However, we accept that all our staff and volunteers have personal lives and personal circumstances that may impact their availability at short notice and we try to be respectful of this.

If an event is cancelled or a speaker cancels their session, please know that we will do our best to schedule a new date or find a replacement speaker but we will not be able to guarantee a new date or time, especially for free events.
