I am a young person and my parent/guardian struggles with English, can GT Scholars provide a translator for discussions with my parent/guardian?

Unfortunately, we do not provide translators.

If you are applying to one of our programmes and your parent/guardian doesn’t feel confident with speaking in England, we suggest that you get an additional family member that is over 18 that can be present at all meetings with your parent and can translate during meetings and phone calls.

Your programme manager and any tutors or mentors that are supporting you, will need to communicate with this person, throughout your time on the programme so please ensure that this is someone that can easily be contacted and is available for discussion.
